Out The Fronts ( OTFs ) Switchblades
- Out The Front switchblades or OTFs refer to the way the blade deploys. Unlike a side opening switchblade, OTF blades fire straight out of the top of the knife.
- OTFs come in 2 basic styles:
- Double action- which means the button is used to open and close the knife.
- Single action- which uses the button to open the knife and then the charging handle is used to close and reset the knife by pulling back on it.
- OTFs are very popular, some well-known OTF knives include Pirahna, Delta Force, Titan, Lightning, and many more.
