Out The Fronts ( OTFs ) Switchblade knives are Not the traditional side opening switchblades The blades are deployed straight out the front as so named. Out the Front switchblades can be either Single action or double action. If it is a single action automatic knife then the blade must be retracted manually, whereas double action automatic knives will deploy & retract via the firing button.
